Magical is the only way describe Adrianna & Burk’s Four Seasons Wedding. Hues of smokey purple and lavender, silver and white set the tone for this summer magical wedding. Disney has been an important part of Adrianna’s life, so it was only fitting that we incorporated it into the wedding design. While the style of the wedding was that of a whimsical fairytale, we added that little bit of that Disney magic. Throughout the design process we easily found ways to have Mickey make an appearance. From the wedding invitations to the welcome dessert reception to the most perfect wedding day.

The invitations are the first impression the guests receives and her custom designed watercolor floral invites set the tone perfectly. The design was used throughout her day-of stationery; from table numbers and menu cards to charming welcome favor gift tags. Can you find the hidden mickey in the floral?

The wedding was an intimate affair but no detail was overlooked. The welcome reception, held after the wedding rehearsal, took place at EPCOT as guests dined on an assortment of sweets including chocolate fondue, mini cannolis and brownies. The night ended with a front row view of the “Illuminations” show, EPCOT’s firework spectacular.

Adrianna resembled a true life princess in her bright white spaghetti strap ball gown by Alvina Valenta.  The asymmetrical layers of tulle and the crystal beaded headpiece added that touch of enchantment. While the accessories were very minimal they held a special place in her heart; an Alex and Ani Disney bracelet which read “a Dream is a wish your heart makes” and a pair of subtle pearl earrings given to her by her future husband on her wedding day.

Their ceremony was to take place on the Areca lawn but mother nature had other plans. This change; however, had very little impact, because the Ballroom was transformed into a beautiful ceremony space and it looked flawless. A Violinist played classic Disney tunes as guests arrived, setting the tone for the fairytale that was about to happen when Adrianna and Burk said “I Do”. Rose petals were lain, creating an aisle. Whitewashed lanterns capped the ends of the aisle. A wedding arch was placed against the windows, giving the guests the feeling of being outside. Two mesmerizing  floral arrangements stood off to the side of the arch, thus creating a special altar space for our bride and groom to make their vows.

The reception was simply stunning. We had an assortment of tall and low centerpieces made up of Dahlias, Garden and Spray roses, white Ranunculus, white and purple Stock, Scabiosa and trails of Ivy.  Candle surrounded the centerpieces, enhancing the romantic tone of the space. The cake was beautifully set behind their romantic sweetheart table while a spellbinding image of the Cinderella’s Castle was illustrated on the wall.  Directly under the image was the couple’s cake. It was a simple, white, three tiered cake that was transformed by a vine of roses, in full bloom, creeping up the side. The position of the vine lined up perfectly beneath the castle gateway above it, as if the vine was meant to be the pathway to the castle doors. White chocolate bars in the shape of Mickey were used as place cards as well as guest favors. The couple’s first dance was the highlight of this fascinating evening. Adrianna and Burke were introduced with two very special guests and had their first dance among the stars on their white twinkle dancefloor. As guests danced the night away the colors on the dancefloor changed. It was a perfect evening for a perfect couple

We do not always get the chance to be a part of the design of the weddings, but when we do we can help our clients bring their visions to life. Working with this wedding and this lovely couple was exciting and being able to incorporate something that meant so much to them was special. As many of our couples we keep in touch and we were so excited to find out recently that they are expecting their first little bundle of joy and we could not be happier for them. A true life Happily Ever After.
