Over the years we have watched the wedding industry grow and become more diverse. We live in a multicultural society and yet there is still a lot of stigma attached to the fusion of different cultures. We are seeing more couples wanting to do more fusion and multicultural weddings. Weddings have definitely evolved; nowadays there are so many interfaith weddings where key elements are brought together from different cultures to create a wedding tailored to the couples as well as their families. Every little girl dreams of being a fairy tale princess and having the perfect wedding. In an Egyptian wedding, the bride and the groom both get that chance to feel like royalty. They spend the day being treated like a king and queen, complete with crowns and the occasional throne. On May 29th, Mary and Peter dove headfirst into this tradition.
