Alicia and Tim's October Oaks Wedding

A wedding speaks volumes about the couple, and such was the case with Alicia & Tim’s barn wedding at October Oaks on December 29, 2017. The lovely couple fell in love with this property as it had everything that we were looking for. A touch of elegance with it’s gorgeous woods, a vast of meadow and aquaculture pond to the Rustic look and feel of the Barn. There was no doubt this would be the perfect backdrop for their special day!

Inspired by the beautiful green hues of mother nature this lovely couple’s wedding was as sweet as can be! From the soft lighted drapery used as a simple backdrop for their sweetheart table, silver chargers that were paired with lush, fresh floral and votive candles on every guest table to the most joyful expressions after saying “I Do,” there was so much to love about this romantic farm wedding. Simple, yet elegant, Alicia & Tim’s made it their own by tying in decor that was all in white/ivory and silver with a touch of sage green. Every detail came together creating a romantic and inviting evening- perfect for our lovely couple.

Guests arrived for the outdoor ceremony at the Trellis Garden. They were taken by the barn picturesque surroundings as they waited for their first glance of the bride. Alicia, escorted by her Dad arrived as a true vision in her stunning bridal gown, by David Tuterra, as she walked down the aisle towards Tim who patiently waited with a smile in a classic Jos A, Banks black tuxedo. The ceremony was beautiful and the couple’s look was elegant and timeless.

These two walked hand-in-hand around the farm for some incredible couple portraits photographed by the talented Carolina Guzick. We simply love how the happy couple’s heartwarming and enthusiastic moments translates so effortlessly in these stunning images.

The couple’s first dance was the highlight of the evening. As the happy newlyweds were being introduce, the barn doors were slowly open revealing Alicia & Tim standing under a romantic set of market lighting as they sway in to their first dance as husband and wife. This was simply a breathtaking moment.

The evening flew by with endearing and fun toasts, cake cutting, moves on the dance floor all infused with joy and laughter for an incredible night away. Excitement was in the air as the evening came to an end with a memorable sparkler send off for the newlyweds. Congratulations Alicia & Tim!!
