Enchanted evenings and dashing princes, that is what little girls dream of and every bride deserves to feel like a princess on her wedding day. Alyssa and Scott’s was like a page out of a fairytale. The week of Alyssa and Scott’s enchanted wedding we got news of a hurricane off the coast, a villain of sorts. We were determined to overcome this obstacle and save the day.

The theme was clearly outlined by attention to detail in the decorations, helping to bring this celebration a real sense of elegance. Decor was inspired by hues of ivory, champagne and blush pink, with touches of gold. No detail was overlooked, from her gorgeous gown to the gorgeous florals pieces. Every princess style gown needs a pair of glass slippers, or in Alyssa’s case, sparkling Bagley Mischka flats. She carried a lovely bouquet of mixed white and blush roses and peonies, wrapped in lace and white tulle. As she walked down the aisle to her awaiting prince, she looked every bit the part of a princess. The vow exchange was an emotional affair. In Alyssa’s vows she said, “ I’m marrying the man of my dreams and that’s all I could ever ask for.”

From the Waldorf Salad to the Red Velvet Cake, Alyssa and Scott’s wedding encompassed everything iconic to their venue, The Waldorf Astoria Orlando. The center pieces ranged from high to low, lanterns to vases. Every detail was planned to perfection, right down to the monogrammed napkins at the bar. For this fairytale wedding the hashtag seemed fitting, #whenyouwishuponaseifert. It was a play on “when you wish upon a star”. The four tier cake was frosted with blush and gold details. Written in frosting on the top tier, was the script of a fairytale. Escorted cards were displayed with not only the guest name and table numbers  but also the small detail of a colored rhinestone identifying the guest chosen meal for smooth plated service. As the guests danced the night away, flip flops were provided and our bride slipped into her rose gold Keds.

No fairytale is complete without an extravagant exit. Each guest was given a streamer wand to wave. With the guests lined on the staircase Alyssa and Scott came made their way down to their chariot.  The lovely couple was able to see their guests and wave goodbye from the back of the chart.
