Seven years, and a beautiful baby girl later, Alisa & Marquis tied the knot at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace on a gorgeous November day. They have shared countless experiences together, so getting married was just another adventure to add to the list!
A Lakeside Ceremony
Alisa and Marquis decided to leave their first glimpses of one another for the aisle, prolonging the excitement of finally seeing each other on the big day. Leading up to the big moment, we of course got to spend some time with our beautiful bride, Alisa. We got to admire her in all her bridal beauty as she donned an ivory, illusion beaded-lace gown by Galina Signature. Before Alisa made her grand entrance, her bridesmaids glided down the aisle in matching, taupe dresses while Alisa’s Maid of Honor sported a champagne-colored dress.
Awaiting Alisa’s arrival at the altar, was her soon-to-be hubby, Marquis. He looked ever-so-dashing in a custom-made Barong, along with his groomsmen who wore traditional Barongs. A “Barong” is an embroidered, formal shirt that’s worn untucked over pants. Marquis wore a Barong to honor his Filipino heritage, as well as, the heritage of Alisa’s step-father who raised her from the age of four and instilled his culture into her life.
It was finally time for Alisa’s big moment! She cascaded down the aisle, arm-in-arm with her step-father, with all the grace of something walking towards their soulmate. Alisa and Marquis exchanged vows under the Lakeside Gazebo; it made for an exquisite backdrop for their nuptials.
An Unexpected Entrance Into A Dazzling Reception
Following their outdoor ceremony, was grand reception abuzz with dinner, drinks, and laughter! Guests enjoyed some delicious bites at tables dressed in ivory linen, topped with peach-colored napkins, and floral centerpieces in trumpet vases. The room was illuminated by amber-toned uplights, which gave the reception a warm, romantic glow.
The toasts were sweet, and the cake-cutting was even sweeter. Guests and newlyweds, alike, danced the night away to tunes spun by M.A.D.D Vybez Entertainment. We can’t forget the inflatable photo booth! It was packed the entire night, with party-goers snapping fun selfies and hilarious poses. Funny enough, the photo booth is where Alisa and Marquis made their entrance into the reception from! It was so unexpected and epic!
We’d be remiss if we failed to mention the couple’s dessert table by Florida Candy Buffets… The table was stocked with Alisa and Marquis’s favorite confections and a tower of Macarons! If you need us, we’ll be by the dessert table…
As the evening winded down, Alisa and Marquis bid their guests adieu (after grabbing some more treats from the dessert table, of course) and went quietly into that good night, full of marital bliss!
To Alisa and Marquis,
We can’t think of a better way to begin your marriage journey than being surrounded by your closest friends and family. We know how special it was to have them all together, to share in this magical day. Congratulations to you both, we hope your ‘big day’ was the best culmination of your seven years together, and the years you’ve yet to share! Xoxo #peacocksquad
