Sidney and Kyle, two dapper gents’ who not only fell in love with each other but also with the historic, Spanish architecture of Casa Feliz- a lovely venue nestled in Winter Park, Florida. Once they set their sights on Casa Feliz, they knew it would be the perfect location to host their elegant same-sex wedding & start their ‘happily ever after!’

Together, Sidney and Kyle wore matching, classic black-tie tuxedos by Calvin Klein- topped off with corresponding white bow-ties. We loved their wedding looks, as they were both timeless and dapper!

A “paw-fect” ceremony

To host the “I-dos,” the ceremony was held in the front garden of the Casa Feliz Historic Home. Encircled by the home’s lush lawn and beautifully-aged red brick, Sidney and Kyle were joined by their loved ones to share their vows and become partners in life. Guests were seated on French country chairs that were placed on either side of the aisle. The French country chair closest to the aisle was adorned with greenery and the aisle itself was dressed with a variety of lanterns leading up to the altar.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a brilliant sunset. As the ceremony came underway, Kyle walked first with his aunt, then proceeded to wait for Sidney in order to complete the walk to the altar with him. Even though they had already done a “First Look,” Sidney and Kyle’s smiles were infectious when they saw each other again at their ceremony.

Hand-in-hand, Sidney and Kyle made their way to the altar to say their vows. While all of the elements of Sidney and Kyle’s ceremony were eye-catching, their paw-fect ring-bearer stole the show. Harvey, the Boston Terrier, strutted his stuff down the aisle and presented his humans with their rings.  Once the couple was pronounced husband and husband, they exited with a flurry of bubbles and marched out of the ceremony to the ringing of a bell- which was done by our assistant, Jamie. It was a must-have for the couple!

A reception under the stars

Everything about the couple’s reception was elegant. From the soft, romantic lighting to the crystal chandelier, and two-tiered cake. The guests’ tables were decorated with silver linens and gold charger plates wrapped with white napkins. The French country chairs from the ceremony were utilized as reception seating, as well. High and low floral centerpieces, as well as, various metallic elements came together to further the elegant ambiance of the reception design.

Sidney and Kyle’s sweetheart table was dressed with a breath-taking garland of white flowers that made the table stand out from the rest of the reception.

The ‘parent dances’ were sweet as can be! Sidney twirled his mother around the dance floor, and Kyle danced with his aunt. As a wedding favor, as they sat down to dinner, the guests were presented with mini succulents wrapped in a pretty bow. After dinner, guests could treat themselves to a spread of delicious desserts that paid homage to Sidney’s Brazilian heritage.

The newlyweds danced the night away and enjoyed the festivities to their heart’s content. All in all, Sidney and Kyle’s wedding day was a celebration of love and life.

Love is love

Casa Feliz was the perfect venue for Sidney and Kyle, to say the least! Their special day was filled with laughter, happy-tears, and an abundance of love. We simply adored being a part of their big day!

True love is never wrong and Sidney & Kyle are simply meant to be.

Love is love. Xoxo #peacocksquad
