The day started bright and early at The Aloft. Sara and her bride tribe had the best time getting their hair & make-up done: they reminisced about the good ole’ days and the fun times they have shared together thus far. The gals looked especially adorable in their matching flannel shirts. Once their hair and make-up were complete, they hit the road to the Luxmore Grande Estate in a beautiful, luxurious limousine.

Sisterhood Of The Traveling Lipstick

Sara was a vision in white; She wore a stunning mermaid-style gown by Pronovias, with sheer lace detailing on the front & back of the dress. In addition, crystal tulle, beading, and flower appliques cascaded down the dress leading to a cathedral train. Sara kept her accessories simple and stuck to a few family traditions: she wore a pair of bracelets worn by her sister, mother, and grandmother on their wedding days. A touching nod to her ‘something old & something borrowed.’ Sara also wore the same lipstick worn by on her sister on her big day. We loved this idea! Sara and her sister have such a beautiful bond, and it was so sweet to see how she incorporated her family into her wedding day.

Jackson, of course, looked dapper in his grey suit & white button-up shirt. He accented his suit with an emerald green tie and black shoes. Standing with him at the altar were his groomsmen, also dressed in grey suits, white button-up shirts, and emerald green ties. The emerald green ties were the common denominator between the groomsmen’s looks and the bridesmaid’s dresses- which were a mix of long dresses by Azazie. Everyone looked incredible!

The Not-So-Secret Garden

What’s a garden-inspired wedding, without a garden? Sara & Jackson’s ceremony took place in the Luxmore Grande Estate’s Jessup Garden. Guests were seated in mahogany folding chairs, and the altar was decorated with two floral arrangements. The color palette for the ceremony was kept quite neutral and really enhanced the natural beauty of the Jessup Garden.

Sara was escorted down the aisle by both of her parents, and the ceremony was officiated by a friend of the lovely couple. Having a friend wed them made for a fun, heartfelt ceremony- at one point you could see Sara get a little teary-eyed. It was so sweet!

Will You Take This Koozie?

During the cocktail hour, you could see guests mingling and having a good time. They were treated to delicious appetizers and refreshing beverages. Guests were invited to sign the couple’s guestbook and take a peek at the seating chart to see which table they’d be enjoying dinner at. Also, personalized koozies and matchboxes were given as favors from the happy couple.

Sara & Jackson finished with portraits early, leaving them time to join their guests for the cocktail hour. They were eager to see their loved ones, and their guests were equally as eager to see them!

Ardent In The Garden

Sara, Jackson, and their guests left the cocktail hour and made their way to the reception space. Hues of ivory, white, and accents of greenery dressed the classic design of the Luxmore Grande Estate in garden-inspired vibes. The stair’s double banisters were wrapped in lush garlands adorned with white flowers. Each table was dressed in ivory Shantung linen, Hunter Bengaline napkins, mahogany Chiavari chairs, and a mix of short & tall centerpieces. Sara & Jackson’s sweetheart table was kept simple with a floor-length garland, minimal flowers, and a few mercury votives.

The couple’s wedding cake was three tiers and had a few flowers decorating the various layers. It was set upon a gold stand and was circled by a few mercury glass votives.

Once all the guests had claimed their seats, the newlyweds were introduced and made their way into the reception ballroom. They walked out onto the dance floor and began their first dance as husband & wife. They glided effortlessly to Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love.”

The entire evening was spent amongst friends- laughing, dancing, and sharing in Sara & Jackson’s love story. Between the toasts, cake cutting, and dinner- the air was palpable with happy wishes for the couple. It was a true celebration of love!

Soundwave DJ & Entertainment kept everyone out on the dance floor right up until it was time to bid the couple farewell with a grand sparkler exit.

The Luxmore Grande Estate was a fantastic venue for Sara & Jackson to celebrate the start of their new life together. Their special day was filled with happy tears, laughter, and an abundance of love! We simply adored being a part of this most amazing of days! Cheers to the newlyweds, we wish you a wonderful life as husband & wife! xoxo #peacocksquad
