Brittany & Ryan's Luxmore Grande Estate Wedding

The Luxmore Grande Estate was the perfect backdrop for Brittany and Ryan’s Southern Romantic wedding. While it was a fairly traditional wedding, the couple paid homage to their love for Star Wars- it was May the 4th after all (#MayTheFourthBeWithYou)! To show off their love for the force they had a custom cake topper made, along with custom straws and beverage napkins. Ryan and his groomsmen wore Star Wars socks; Brittany and Ryan even jazzed up their wedding hashtags with Star Wars references: #MayTheFourthBeWithYou, #TilDeathStarDoUsPart. Needless to say, this was a fun wedding. Let’s discuss more of the details:

Brittany and Ryan’s wedding colors were a mix of soft whites and blush tones, with accents of greenery and gold. So pretty! Brittany wore an Essence of Australia gown from One & Only Bridal Boutique. Ryan got his attire from Jos A Bank and sported a vest and a blue tie. His groomsmen wore cute suspenders and blue bow-ties that matched the dresses of Brittany’s bridesmaids, which were ice blue. The whole ensemble looked absolutely charming!

Sweet moments

One of the hallmarks of Brittany and Ryan’s wedding was all of the sweet moments throughout the day. Brittany did a super adorable first look with her girl squad and then a heart-warming first look with her father. Brittany and Ryan elected to do a “first touch,” and held hands while saying a little prayer.

Time for the “I-Do’s!”

The ceremony was held outdoors on the back patio of the Luxmore Grande Estate, and boy, the weather was perfect! On either side of the aisle were rows of mahogany folding chairs, white lanterns, and two large floral arrangements. Brittany’s father escorted down the aisle which ended with a beautiful cross, soft drapery, and greenery. Brittany and Ryan said “I Do” with straight-from-the-heart vows, that was both personal and tear-inducing (there was not a dry eye in sight!). Their vows fit their love story to a “t!”

A dream come true Reception

Brittany and Ryan decked out the Luxmore Grande Estate with hues of soft white, greenery, and gold. They tied in the blush tones with uplighting placed around the room- which completely transformed the space! The couple’s guests were treated to tables dressed in ivory linens and topped with ivory napkins, and high-low centerpieces. Mahogany Chiavari chairs and gold chargers completed the look. Brittany and Ryan’s sweetheart comes to the foreground with the use of two crystal + gold candelabras and a ‘Mr. and Mrs’ tabletop sign. Their sweetheart table was also decorated with greenery and votive candles. The two tall, floral arrangements were repurposed from the ceremony and placed on either side of the sweetheart table, drawing attention to the happy newlyweds.

To highlight the wedding cake, a hedge wall was placed behind the cake table, tying in with the decor theme. Attention couples- we highly recommend dressing up your cake cutting area because it’ll make a huge difference in your pictures! Brittany and Ryan’s cake was comprised of four white tiers; Some of the tiers received a soft touch of floral while the top tier held the custom cake topper: Darth Vader & Tinkerbell (combining their love of Star Wars and Brittany’s personal love of Tinkerbell)! All these elements came together to make for an epic cake cutting!

Party time!

The rest of the evening was pure fun! When it came time for toasts, Brittany’s dad couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a little fun. He donned the infamous Darth Vader mask- which was both endearing and hilarious. After toasts & dinner, there was lots of dancing- this was certainly a party crowd! Ryan took up the task of donning the Darth Vader mask, and wore it throughout the night, having a great time. We could tell that this couple’s favorite place that night was out on the dance floor, as they were inseparable and kept cutting a rug until it was time for goodbyes. To end the most perfect of days, Brittany and Ryan had an epic sparkler exit.

Brittany and Ryan’s special day was a true reflection of their style and love for each other. It was infused with so many special moments, showing off their incredible personalities.
