From the moment our bride, Aniesa laid eyes on the Luxmore, she was in complete awe, not only with the beauty of the venue and it’s stunning grounds but also its grande character. She knew immediately that it would be the perfect backdrop for her and Daniel’s dream wedding!!
On July 8th, 2017, Aniesa + Daniel were married at Luxmore Grande Estate. Their vision was brought to life and it was as beautiful as they had imagined it to be. Aniesa and her maid of honor arrived at the venue and had their hair and makeup done in the Lux VIP Bridal suite. Meanwhile the Groom and his groomsmen were gathered in the Lux Parlor finalizing their last minute attire. Both Aniesa and Daniel exchanged presents and wrote personalized cards for each other, to be given while they got dressed. It was clear after the gift exchange just how ready they each were to see the other. Fortunately, neither of them had to wait long to see each other, they decided beforehand to do a First Look.
The Luxmore Grande Estate is a charming Southern House. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, The Venue is quite a hidden gem and perfect for weddings. Upon entering the Grand Foyer you are greeted with a double sided staircase and a crystal chandelier. This staircase was the perfect setting for the couple’s First Look. Daniel was positioned at the bottom of the staircase so that he would not see Aniesa descend. As she stepped off the last step, Daniel was able to turn and see his beautiful bride for the first time that day. He could not take his eyes of of her the rest of the evening.
They decide to change up the ceremony seating from the traditional rows all facing at the altar and having to go to a secondary location for reception. Instead the Ceremony was held in the very room that the reception was held. Their seat during the ceremony was their seat for the reception. The altar was set along a wall of bay windows that allowed for natural lighting and for stunning pictures. It was so beautiful to look the way they looked at each other and the joy from their families as they united as one.
Cocktail hour was held in the surrounding rooms; the Estate Room, the Library, the Foyer and the Lux Parlor. Drapes were closed to allow the venue staff to make final changes to the room, then the guests would be invited back to the Grande Ballroom. The most notable change was that a lovely table for two was placed in the spot where the ceremony had taken place. Aniesa and Daniel had their SweetHeart table placed on the very spot that they exchanged vows. There is something incredibly sweet and tender about that!!
Once all the guests had reclaimed their seats, the new Mr. and Mrs. Vaughan were introduced into the room. They sway effortlessly into their first dance as a married couple, courtesy of Mr. John Legend and his hit song “Why I Love You.” From there the rhythm of the evening only spirited as the DJ had everyone on the dance floor until the final song. The photo booth produced many a silly picture of the guests to take home was the highlight of the evening.
Aniesa and Daniel were beyond happy and ready to start their new life together. Their pathway was lit with glow wands as they made their grand exit. We wish them endless years of sweet memories, abundance love and great adventures on their married journey.
