With incredibly views and the most gorgeous golden light at sunset Maddie and Kyle’s seaside wedding was a dream come true. These two love birds were our first wedding of 2018. The wedding was held at the Trump International Hotel in Miami, FL on January 7th. Maddie and Kyle love the sea and cruises, so much so that they decided to incorporate it into their wedding theme. After months of planning, the pair pulled off an ethereal wedding with the nautical touches that played up the beachy locale. There were plenty of little ways to allude to nautical; and we helped them find everyone we could.

The colors for the wedding were the traditional nautical navy and white. All of the bridesmaids had navy blue dresses, their bouquets were tied with blue and white striped ribbons. Our gentlemen were all dressed in light grey tuxes with navy ties to match the bridesmaids. Maddie wore a long white flowing dress that moved freely with the sea breeze.

On a paved area just before the beach entrance is where Maddie found her future husband. With a soft touch, she let him know she was there without even saying a word. In that moment, they did not need words, and Kyle did something a little different then what we see a lot of grooms do. He did not take his eyes off of hers, he did not look her up and down to see the dress or hair; he simply stared into her eyes. It was as if her eyes told him all he needed to know. Once the moment had passed they hugged, and held each other for a second.

With the first look complete, they made their way, the short distance to the beach. They did some photos of just the two of them, then they invited their bridal party to join them for pictures. Then it was off to the holding area before the guests could see them.

Ceremony was held on the lawn, facing Trump’s private beach. An arch adorned with blossoming flowers stood at the end of the aisle, large white lanterns lit the pathway. Maddie stood at the top of the stairs as the rest of the bridal party made there way down the aisle. With a wonderfully dramatic entrance in place, she took to the staircase. As she descended, Kyle, despite already seeing her, was awestruck. Their ceremony was touching and heartfelt.

Cocktail was held in the space directly across from the reception space, there was no chance of us losing any guests. The guests were in for a treat when the Bride and Groom joined them for cocktails. In the hall leading to reception, the guests picked up their place cards. Each place card was white with a blue lining wrapping the sides, the lining was actually detailed to look like rope.

In the ocean view Ballroom, the DJ used up lights to give the room a blue hue. It tied in perfectly  with the theme, as did the cake. The newlyweds had their baker place anchors on the cake. Each table was draped in a navy linen with ivory napkins. The table numbers were attached to rope knots and the floor- to- ceiling windows were left cleared so that the ocean was visible at all times.

As stunning as the Ballroom looked, it was eclipsed as Maddie and Kyle made their grand entrance. They swept into the room and straight into their first dance! And Dance they did! After dinner was complete, the dance floor was the only place those two could be found. They danced the night away as the sun set on the beach.

The evening was stunning; it truly represented both the bride and the groom. Guests soaked up ocean views at this beautiful seaside destination wedding. It was truly the perfect wedding to start our fabulous 2018 wedding season. A huge congratulations to the newlyweds. We wish them endless years of sweet memories, abundance love and great adventures on their married journey.
