When looking for your soul mate there are many things to look for. When you two are together you should be able to be yourself around them and they should always be able to make you smile. Upon meeting Cara and Keith it was clear to see that not only were the two in love but they were soul mates. The loving couple began their wedding planning journey and right away they were hooked on the Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast. It was the perfect venue; the ceremony and reception areas were intimate and gorgeous. On the morning of June 18th, the couple prepared for their big day with a nice breakfast, surrounded by a few of their closest friends. Cara’s friends were on deck when it came time to do hair and make up, not much was needed for the blushing bride had an amazing glow about her.
The ceremony was held outside, guests were seated under a great oak tree. As the music started and the bridal party made their way down the aisle you could see Keith start to get anxious as he waited to see his gorgeous bride for the first time that day. As she stepped out of the house and walked the few steps down the stairs you could see everyone’s eyes widen and smiles appear everywhere, Cara was breath taking. Cara and Keith’s smiles only got wider the closer they got to each other. The ceremony was conducted by a friend, which made it feel more personal and relaxed at the same time. Humor was a big thing for the couple and their friend delivered. As it came time for “the kiss”, it was plain to see that these two lovebirds were madly in love. Once the ceremony concluded, it was time for everyone to make their way to the cocktail hour and for the couple to take pictures.
The setting sun provided the perfect backdrop for Black and Hue Photography to take some amazing shots of the two. The newlyweds laughed, giggled and messed around with each other, it was endearing. Candid shots can sometimes be the best pictures because shows a different side, not just the planned posses. When entering the reception, guests were first presented with the chance to take a picture with a Polaroid camera. The pictures were then traded for their seating cards. On every table was a journal with a number on it and a pen attached for people to write encouraging words for the couple to read on the anniversary of that year. It was a cute spin on the traditional guest sign in book. The cake cutting proved to be a messy affair, as they each shoved their cupcakes in the other’s face. After a night full of dancing and laughs it was time for everyone to make their way to the front for an amazing sparkler exit. All 80 plus guests were in attendance as they stood on either side of the walkway and lit the sparklers. The couple danced and made their way through all of their closest friends and family. “Love is in the air” this is true about a lot of wedding. There was something different about this wedding. Couples like Cara and Keith make it easier to believe in soul mates. This wedding was definitely one for the books.
